Safeguarding Policies
In 2016, the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland (NBSCCCI) produced ‘Safeguarding Children Policy and Standards for the Catholic Church in Ireland’ which contains a policy statement, seven child safeguarding standards as well as guidance on the implementation of these standards. This document, which the Archdiocese of Tuam adheres to, is available on www.safeguarding.ie or can be downloaded below.
