NUA 2021

Come join us for NUA!

NUA is all about exploring. It takes that youth group experience we all enjoy, and infuses it with some pretty big questions! Those questions about life and faith that maybe you didn’t even know you were asking. Or you thought you were alone in asking. And now we are going online so you can explore from the comfort of your own home!

You don’t need to be a big thinker or a big talker to take part. Just a willingness to participate, and an openness to the exploring the questions it asks.

Who is NUA for?

  • This programme is for students in the Tuam Archdiocese who are doing the Pope John Paul II Award 2020-2021.

What does it entail?

  • 8 x 1 hour sessions over Zoom.
  • Meeting on Thursday evening from 7:00-8:00pm for 8 weeks.
  • Each meeting we watch a 15 minute video together.
  • We use the video as the basis for small group discussion.

What topics are covered?

  • How did we get here?
  • Jesus: Fact or Fiction?
  • What was Jesus really like?
  • How can you say that God is good?
  • And more…

When does it start?

  • Thursday, 4 March 2021 at 7pm.
  • We will email you the Zoom link before each session.

Anything else I need to know?

  • Don’t be afraid or nervous to take part. Hopefully you will make friends out of it!
  • If discussions make you nervous, don’t worry. There will be no pressure on anyone. And remember too, there are no wrong answers!
  • And yes, if you take part, you will get credits towards your Pope John Paul II Award 🙂

How do I sign up?

  • Use the contact form below to register your interest by Sunday 28 February.
  • We will then email you a digital Sign-Up Form.
  • If you are under 18 we will need your parent/guardian’s email address to get their consent too (we will ask for this in the sign-up form).
  • Feel free to contact me if you have any questions – my contact details are at the bottom of the page.

I’m in! Please send me a sign-up form… (they will be emailed out by the end of the week)
